Here at Independent, we have been inspired to limit the use of plastics we use as a company. In the past like most apparel companies, our retail web orders were shipped in individual plastic poly bags that are difficult to recycle and often thrown away.
That's why we decided to abandon the use of poly bags for a more eco friendly raffia ribbon made from degradeable and recyclable paper. Our new packaging, or lack of it, will be used on all of our retail web orders moving forward.
We know it isn't much of a change, but were pretty excited about it.
